Though they are having such compact design and small physicality, they may surprise us with how loud that they can be. Not exactly as loud as the high-end products, but, still loud. Excellent performance for their price – and size.
Bose SoundTouch 10 is coming from the new SoundTouch series, which consists of speakers that are also music players. They are unique from the usual speakers because they can connect with various media and gadgets to play the audio files there, instead of just acting as a passive audio output device. Indeed, its functionality is much wider then, but we can still control it from our smartphones or tablets through the Sound Touch app much like the usual speakers. Because of the extensive range of features, Bose SoundTouch 10, the most compact SoundTouch device right now, is still somewhat bulky and heavy, at least compared to Bose SoundLink Mini.
Bose SoundLink Mini is more of the usual speakers. It is an older model here. But, needless to say, it is offering a superb performance. It is much more compact and lightweight than Bose SoundTouch 10, but its sonic quality is perhaps comparable if not slightly better. Its bass is very full, yet still retaining a proper clarity. However, it does not have anything similar to the SoundTouch technology. Instead, you use it the classical way. Pair it with your gadgets, play the music there, it is the one that sounds.
