Martin Logan Motion 20 comes with an elegant and classy appearance. It is available in three color choices: black, dark cherrywood, and white. The body has a high gloss finish that looks very stylish and attractive. It will certainly be a nice part of the room’s decoration. The body is also very slim and space-friendly. The subtle curves and slender profile make this floorstanding speaker stand out from the other competitors. The housing is made from high quality materials; it is very rugged and durable.
The floorstanding speaker has one high frequency tweeter and two woofers. The tweeter features the folded motion technology, a feature similar to the twitter technologies found on expensive high-end speakers, which has a large surface area and lightning fast transient response. As the effect, the highs it produces are clear, accurate, and highly dynamic. The increased surface area also functions to create a wide yet controlled sound dispersion for a realistic sound stage. The two 5.5” aluminum cone woofers are arranged in a non-resonant asymmetrical chamber format, working together to deliver the midrange and bass sounds. We must say that the bass of Martin Logan Motion 20 is not all that powerful, but this is understandable. Even though the bass is not very powerful, the bass is accurate and solid.
