Vizio E65X-C2 and Vizio E65-C3 can be very, very much look alike, both in physical appearance and in specifications. Even, they both are sold at very similar prices. So, why on earth does Vizio sell two same products in different names?! Relax, reader; let me tell you a few differences between these two Smart LED TVs that might have been missed by some people.
Firstly, though they both deliver 1080p HD display, Vizio implemented different refresh rate technologies on them. Vizio E65X-C2 has a 60 Hz native panel with 120 Hz effective refresh rate while Vizio E65-C3 features a 120 Hz native panel with 240 Hz effective refresh rate. Therefore, it is clear that Vizio E65-C3 will give smoother images than Vizio E65X-C2, especially when processing fast-moving actions. Secondly, Vizio E65-C3 panel has a billion of colors while Vizio E65X-C2 only has 16.7M colors. However, users reported that there is no real color divergence between the two TVs, most probably because most of the additional colors on Vizio E65-C3 are grayscales. Thirdly, apparently the only advantage that the E65X-C2 holds, E65X-C2 has 15 W speakers while E65-C3’s speakers are 10 W.

Conclusion
So, when choosing between Vizio E65X-C2 and Vizio E65-C3, it is ‘slightly’ better to choose the latter product due to a better visual quality. However, if you want to trade the visual improvement with 5 W extra audio power on each speaker (and a few dollars saving, on normal prices), then Vizio E65X-C2 is the way to go.
