However, Onkyo TX RZ810 is actually lighter than Onkyo TX RZ800. This seems to be because the manufacturer has put away some connection modules that are considered not necessary. The older model, Onkyo TX RZ800, comes with more audio inputs and video I/O. Nevertheless, each model still features 8 HDMI inputs and 2 HMDI outputs, plus a USB input on the rear panel. Both models support Zone 2 HDMI output for audio and video in a second room.

The next difference between these two models is the audio amplification power. Onkyo TX RZ810 comes with improved audio amplification power from Onkyo TX RZ800. Previously, RZ800 ‘only’ has 185 W/Ch output. Now, RZ810 comes with 200 W/Ch output. The increase is quite apparent and noticeable. Compared to Onkyo TX RZ800, Onkyo TX RZ810 is able to fill the air of larger rooms effortlessly. Nevertheless, 185 W/Ch is actually already huge and should be sufficient to perform in a small or medium room.
